Mistakes
If you see an error (typo, misstatement, or error of fact) in a MacRumors news article, you can alert the editors in these ways:
- For the fastest communication, use the Let us know link at the top of the MacRumors home page to either submit a web form or email the editors.
- To alert the forum moderators, who will share the information with the editors, use the Report button under the first post in the news article's forum thread. Explain the problem that you've spotted.
Do not post about news article errors in the article's forum thread, since the editors may not see your post.
Editorial Decisions
If you disagree with a decision made by the editors, including the selection of news articles, their headlines, and how the news was presented, you can share your comments in these ways:
- Use the Let us know link, as above, for a direct message to the editors.
- Alert the forum moderators, as above, for an indirect message to the editors.
- Start a discussion about the issue with other forum members by creating a thread in the Site and Forum Feedback forum. Share your thoughts about the news article, and include a link to the news article. The editors may or may not choose to participate in the thread.
Do not post feedback on editorial decisions in the article's forum thread, since the editors may not see your post, and the comments are off-topic to the thread's subject and therefore likely to be moderated.
News of No Interest
If you are simply not interested in a particular news article, we suggest that you ignore the article, since others may find it interesting.
Every site visitor or forum member has their own set of interests. Not every article is expected to be of interest to everyone.
