Why can't I see the Political News forum?

The MacRumors editors put news discussion threads in the Political News forum when the news stories are inherently political or about controversial topics.

When you are signed into your MacRumors account, you can choose to display or hide the Political News forum using the Block Politics Forums checkbox on your account Preferences page.

To show the Political News forum

1. Go to your account Preferences page.
2. Uncheck the Block Politics Forums checkbox.
3. Wait up to 30 minutes for the change to take effect.
4. The Political News forum should now appear in the forum list, whether or not you are signed into your MacRumors account.

To hide the Political News forum

1. Go to your account Preferences page.
2. Check the Block Politics Forums checkbox.
3. Wait up to 30 minutes for the change to take effect.
4. The Political News forum should no longer appear in the forum list when you are signed into your MacRumors account. It will still appear when you are signed out.
